Tips
Hey
RVA! ... Get more out of RVA with these helpful tips.
-
Everyone
knows about Carytown and of course the malls but don't forget about
the arts district on Broad St. This stretch of Richmond spanning
the Monroe Ward and Jackson Ward neighborhoods offers up an eclectic
shopping experience with anchor attractions like the Valentine museum
and the National as well as noted galleries at Quirk and 1708.
-
They
don't call it River City for nothing. Of course, there's a beautiful
river flowing through RVA but have you really experienced everything
it has to offer? From quiet inlets to famous islands, this wet expansion
is a true treasure, especially because there are also annual events
like River Rock and lighted boat extravaganzas to see and experience.

Looking
for where the bands are playing? Simply type 'RichmondBands.com'
or 'RVABands.com' in your browser to be taken to a popular Facebook
group where bands list where their gigs for that week are.

The
main attractions get a lot of attention but don't forget the hidden
gems like the Grand Kugel at the Science Museum or Libby Hill Park
at nighttime.
